Welcome to Yankee Metal Detectors. My name is Pat Darinzo. I got interested in metal detecting a few years back and like many of you found that often the
only place to buy a detector was online or from someone's house. Well I figured that it was time for someone namely me, to open a real metal detecting shop in Connecticut.
So here we are October 1 2006. The store is almost open (we are putting in the shelves and decorating etc.) It will be located at 521 Glenbrook Rd. Stamford, CT. Our hours are from 10 to 5 Monday through Saturday. Our phone number is (203) 356-1020.

While this is happening we are taking orders over the phone until the grand opening.

We are not your large box retailer, but a small hometown shop with friendly service and advice.

We are a multiline detector dealer offering Minelab, Whites, Fisher, Garret, Bounty Hunter and others. We carry digging tools, scoops, pin pointers, aprons, pouches etc..

We will also be offering books, DVDs, shadow boxes and other detectorist aids.

Our shop is a member of the Nor'easters Metal Detecting Club and of Jeremiah Burrs National Metal Detecting League.

We accept credit cards and PayPal and oh yeah, CASH.

We hope to make this shop a place were you can come buy share what you found with us have a cup of coffee and heck invite me out to hunt with you, after all I do love to hunt!
